Aravind Prasad is the Head of the Charging Infrastructure business of Ather Energy. He is responsible for the business P&L,overseeing business strategy, network expansion, infrastructure deployment, network management and stakeholder engagement. During his tenure at Ather Energy, Aravind led the 450X Gen 2 product development and went on to build and head the Program Management function, responsible for cross functional execution across various business units. He has led the rapid scale of Ather' fast charging network from 300 chargers to 3000+ fast chargers. He is a strong believer of an interoperable charging ecosystem and works with both private and public stakeholders to make this happen.

Aravind is an alumnus of the Indian School of Business and Purdue University. He started his career with Lutron Electronics (USA), developing home automation systems. He then moved to India to work as a Fellow with Teach For India, where he taught grade 4 and grade 5 in a corporation school. He led Government Relations and Advocacy with Central Square Foundation, where he got the opportunity to work on systemic school education reform with the Prime Minister’s Office , and Governments of Andhra Pradesh, Rajasthan and Haryana.
