Ir. Dr. Rifqi Irzuan Abdul-Jalal is an expert in electric vehicle (hashtag#EV) technology, fuel cell vehicles, hashtag#renewable energy, and automotive research. He is currently an Associate Professor at Taylor's University and has extensive experience handling projects with major automotive companies in Malaysia, focusing on advancing sustainable hashtag#mobility solutions.
He has been involved in developing EVs ranging from the smallest: EV bicycle to the largest: double-decker EV bus, covering hashtag#battery-electric and hashtag#fuel hashtag#cell vehicles. His work also includes biodiesel projects that play an integral role in Malaysia’s biodiesel roadmap. Additionally, he has served as a technical expert for several Malaysian standards related to EVs and biodiesel, contributing to the country’s regulatory and technological advancements.
Currently, he is focusing on developing a Vehicle Control Unit (hashtag#VCU) for EV hashtag#integration, which is not only essential for EV conversion projects but also plays a critical role in energy management for fuel cell vehicles.
