Dr. Siti Sofiah Mohd Radzi, Head of the Perception AI Lab at MIMOS Berhad, received her Master of Engineering in Electronics and Communication from the University of Sheffield and her Doctor of Philosophy in Applied Electronics Engineering from Universiti Malaysia Pahang. She currently leads multiple projects in the areas of robotics perception and ai analytics, focusing on the development of intelligent systems for agriculture, safety, and automation. With over five years of experience building AI models for real-world applications, Dr. Sofiah specializes in computer vision and artificial intelligence, particularly in the context of robotics. Her current work is centered on advancing robotics perception through the integration of advanced sensor fusion technologies, such as 3D LiDAR, IMU, and stereo cameras. She leads a multidisciplinary team to manage and implement high-impact research projects, ensuring the timely delivery of innovative solutions. Dr. Sofiah is also a strong advocate for cross-sector collaboration. She has initiated and led multiple partnerships with industry players, including technology companies and robotics startups, bridging the gap between universities and the industrial sector. Through these collaborations, she has helped translate academic research into deployable technologies and fostered knowledge exchange that accelerates innovation in Malaysia’s agricultural and manufacturing sectors.
